Handwoven Table Runner (191)
This sturdy little number is created from three-ply wool yarn used frequently for rug weaving. It would make a protective mat for on your most precious antique table. It is fashioned using a miniaturized Early American coverlet pattern called, The Star of Bethlehem. If you look closely, you can see why! The threads running the long way are of cream with a gold central area. The pattern is of a cream color. It measures 12 by 27 inches. To care for this item, wash by hand in cool water using a mild soap, Squeeze the excess water out between two towels and line dry. The warp is cotton; the weft, wool.
