Handwoven Scarf (150)
A fiesta of color! This scarf will go with anything! Created with a cotton cream warp, (the threads going the long way of the fabric), it is woven with a multi-hued wool of just about every color that I can think of! Medium weight, it measures 10 by 100 inches long which is a sufficient length for several wraps around the neck. At each end is a black, hemstitched area, followed by a fringe that has been French twisted for long life in the washtub. Speaking of that, to care for this item, I would hand-wash in cool water and using mild soap, squeeze out the excess water by rolling between two terry towels and finish by line drying. I have also steam ironed it, preferring a smoother look.
